The Treadwell^® Gen 6.0, Gen 6.0 LE, Gen 6.0 Mobile Wellness Devices

The next generation device will have mobility features making it easier to move in a facility and for the user to position while sitting. It will also have a narrower footprint taking up less space than our previous model whether in the therapy department, resident's room or even under a desk. And like the original Treadwell^® Wellness Device it will have the same ease of use chacteristics that allow the user to treadle for hours day after day with no untoward effects.

The LE model has a limited excursion of the treadle platform to increase the effectiveness for users that may have bandages that limit the range of motion or who may have suffered from a stroke or other condition resulting in decreased range of motion at the ankle. 

Additional options will include a counter and a therapy session complete LED light to indicate when the user has completed a predetermined number of cycles of treadling.

Treadwell Corporation introduced the Treadwell^® Wellness Device in March 2009 after five years of development.  Our technology became patented on February 8, 2011. Prototypes have been used by literally hundreds of people who have benefitted from the device with no negative side effects.  We have numerous testimonials from these users that are currently being displayed on our website.

The P51.2 LE model was introduced in 2010 after experience with users that had limited range of motion at the ankle due to bandaging, stroke or other condition.

The Treadwell^® Wellness Device was designed for use all day, every day. It is made from machined aluminum that has been powder-coated to increase its longevity.  It is designed for ease of use without being cumbersome like traditional exercise machines.  Because the patient uses the device while sitting mounting and dismounting that increases the risk of falls or injury is eliminated when the Treadwell^® Wellness Device is used. Patients that use wheel chairs can use the device while seated in the wheel chair eliminating the need to transfer the patient.  The device is free-standing, durable and will provide years of maintenance-free service.

Incorporating the Treadwell^® Wellness Device in the care plan for nursing home and long-term care facility residents offers risk reduction and an increase in staff productivity. Risk of injury during transfer from wheel chairs and mounting and dismounting traditional equipment is eliminated when the Treadwell^® Wellness Device is used. This in turn reduces the intense one-on-one management and support of the user by staff allowing the staff to serve the needs of more residents in a given time period.

The Treadwell^® Wellness Device can be used in relatively small spaces in the therapy area or in a resident's room. It can easily fit under a desk or computer work-station which can facilitate the user being engaged in an enjoyable activity while obtaining the benefit of the exercise/therapy session.  The user is able to accomplish tasks like reading, watching television, working on a computer, or any other seated activity while engaging the Treadwell^®Wellness Device.

Treadwell Corporation provides a one-year warranty covering parts and workmanship oncorporated in the Treadwell^® Wellness Device.
